“The Place To Stay For Family Fun
Celebrating 50 Years in 2019!”
Wawaloam, named after a Nipmuck Native American Princess, is truly a family affair.
In 1969, Jim and Maureen Smith began their dream of running a successful
vacation destination for campers visiting the Southern New England area. Nearly fifty years and three generations later, Wawaloam
has become a favorite place for campers of all ages.
the fact that Wawaloam includes 3 children in our base rate. Isn’t that what
family camping is all about? Wawaloam also welcomes well-behaved pets for a

experienced Wawaloam, isn’t it time?
“We never get to come as often, or stay as long as we’d like, but our time at Wawaloam is something we look forward to all year. We just want to remind you that all of your hard work and efforts still show. Wawaloam is
– and probably always will be – our favorite campground, for so many reasons. Again, we just want to thank you and your staff.”
